I have been practicing Family Law for 17 years. I love helping people resolve their matters on their own without the necessity of the expense, stress and uncertainty of litigation. I am now dedicating all of my practice to Zoom mediation in both Florida and Georgia. I was a Family law litigator in Georgia for many years before I moved to Florida and started practicing there. In 2020 everything went virtual and my virtual mediation practice flourished so much that I finally stopped taking litigation cases. Now I mediate Family Law cases 5 days a week!
My style is to pay attention to the personalities of the parties so that I can talk to them in a way that will make them feel comfortable. I push hard when needed and suggest creative solutions when the parties get stuck. My goal is to have everyone come out of mediation feeling like they can live with the agreement and that they are happy to be done without the expense of protracted litigation. While this doesn't happen in every case, I settle the majority of cases that I mediate. Once we get an agreement on terms, for Florida cases I will draft a full settlement agreement for the parties to sign digitally (using Adobe Sign) after the attorneys and the parties agree on all the language. For Georgia Cases, I will draft a very clear bullet point Mediation Agreement will all terms clearly spelled out so that the attorneys can later incorporate the language into a Settlement Agreement. For both states I draft a Parenting Plan and Child Support Worksheets. That saves time, money and stress.

My Mediation rates are $250/hr split evenly between the parties unless agreed otherwise, with a 2-hour minimum charge. I book either full-day mediations (9am-5pm) or half-day mediations (9am-1pm or 1:30 pm-5:30 pm) I would love to help you settle your case!
