Lauren is a licensed attorney, though recently left the practice of family law to focus entirely on mediation. She is registered with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution to serve as a neutral throughout the State of Georgia, with certificates in General Civil Mediation, Domestic Relations Mediation and Domestic Violence Mediation.
Lauren earned her Juris Doctor (cum laude) in 2017 at Georgia State University College of Law and her bachelor's degree in Mass Media and Political Communication with a minor in Political Science at the University of Missouri.
While in law school, Lauren interned with the Honorable Jane C. Barwick of the Superior Court of Fulton County, where she observed numerous court proceedings involving family law matters and conducted extensive research on the subject of family law.
After taking the Georgia Bar Examination in 2017, Lauren exclusively practiced family law until leaving the practice of law in 2023. Lauren was selected by Super Lawyers as a Rising Stars Honoree in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
Lauren lives in Forsyth County, Georgia with her husband, son and two dogs. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors and traveling.
