Illinois Cook County Legal Lawyer- Divorce and Family Law

About

For over 33 years Sandra has dedicated her law and mediation practices to educating and leading clients to the clearest path to resolution of their unique legal issues. Sandra helps families and partnership move out of conflict using the most appropriate dispute resolution model, be that: Collaborative Practice, mediation or limited scope representation. As legal disputes and status adjustments (like dissolutions of marriages, separation of parents or partnerships) can be costly in terms of money, time lost, and emotional turmoil, it is critical for people facing such life changing events to be educated about and understand clearly their legal options and the various pathways to resolution before proceeding.

Sandra co-teaches mediation at Northwestern University School of Professional Studies (Chicago).   She is a past President of Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois.  She lectures and writes frequently on the topics of mediation, Collaborative Practice and conflict resolution. She is a past Chair of the Illinois State Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Section Council and a past Chair of its Women in the Law and Delivery of Legal Services Committees.

Sandra has been nominated by her peers for many years as an Illinois “Super Lawyer” and in 2018 she received the “Leading Lawyer” designation.    Sandra is a past president of the Board of Directors of the Illinois Bar Foundation and a former member of the Advisory Board of the Schiller, DuCanto and Fleck Family Law Center at DePaul University Law School, Chicago.
