Anita Savage is a family law attorney and mediator, a parenting coordinator, and a divorce coach. Anita is a managing partner at Scroggins & Savage, PLLC, a law firm dedicated to providing clients with solutions to resolve their divorce or custody matter outside of court, and designing prenuptial and postnuptial agreements that reach her clients' goals for themselves and their children. She is licensed in Texas, Colorado, and Georgia. 

Anita is a certified TBRI Practitioner, having received her training through the Karen Purvis Child Development Center at TCU. TBRI is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention for professionals who assist children and families impacted by trauma.

Anita has been selected as a Texas Super Lawyer every year since 2015 and as a Best Lawyers in America in Family Law for 2017, and in both Family Law and Collaborative Law in 2018. She is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and also the Colorado Bar Foundation, both of which recognize attorneys who have demonstrated outstanding service and commitment to the legal system.

Anita is the immediate past- Chair of the State Bar of Texas Collaborative Law Section, and the current Chair of Dallas Bar Association Collaborative Law Section. 

Anita received her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Toronto and her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law. During law school, Anita was a member of her law school’s Dean’s List, the National Dean’s List and was named in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
