About
Paola Torselli is a seasoned trial attorney, practicing for over 24 years exclusively in Georgia. Originally from Guatemala and attending High School in Venezuela, Paola is a native Spanish-speaker, fully bilingual in English and in Spanish. She graduated from Georgia State College of Law in 1998 and worked as a Public Defender in DeKalb County for over 13 years, before starting her solo law practice.
Paola started Torselli Law Firm in June of 2012, at which time she began practicing Family Law, an area which has become near and dear to her and predominant in her practice. In 2019, Paola began her mediator certification and is now registered as a Georgia Mediator, focusing mainly on bilingual domestic mediations.
In her Family Law practice, Paola has represented clients successfully, with a focus on assisting her clients to proceed with clarity. She works closely with her clients to help them through what is normally a very difficult time, endeavoring to remove the pressure of their legal matters from their everyday lives.
As a bilingual Mediator, Paola enjoys working with self-represented clients, as well as with fellow attorneys. She endeavors to help the parties find common ground and reach a workable solution to their issues.
In addition to being a member of The Amicable Divorce Network, Paola is a member of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers, the American Academy for Matrimonial Lawyers, the Georgia Bar, the DeKalb County Bar, the Gwinnett County Bar, the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association, the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Trial Lawyers - Top 100.
